ABOUT ANNI

Anni grew up in a large and frighteningly spirited family in the Capital of Australia known as Canberra. Fortunately, (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it,) nothing could dampen her enthusiasm for a career in the Performing Arts. Not the pandemonium of her home life, not the Political tone of her home town and not smashing her face into a dashboard either. A rendition of “Hey Big Spender” as the first razzle dazzle show in the lounge room for friends and family was so memorable she has neither looked back nor lived it down.

Anni is an Actor, Writer, Voice Over Artist, Singer, Coach, Keynote Speaker and Teacher. Her achievements include an Australian Film Institute Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Three Acts of Murder, a nomination for the Rodney Seabourne playwriting award for her play, Girl Wild, a Bachelor of Performing Arts, a Diploma of Education in Drama and English, Certification in Training & Assessment, Life Coaching Certification, Mental Health First Aid Facilitation, a Neuro Linguistic and Neuro Semantic Practitioner and a First Dan Belt in Taekwondo. (Look out.) Her greatest joy is to try her training tips and Resilience strategies out on her sons with excellent and totally biased results.

Anni’s tilt towards mental wellbeing has an emotive, dramatic and inspiring backstory. It is one of overcoming both physical and psychological obstacles, of resilience and determination, of overcoming obstacles and re-building beliefs to live an empowered, fab and far out life.

As an actor, Anni has performed across Independent and Mainstream stages in Sydney, Melbourne and Europe. Her favourite roles include Cleopatra and Macbeth but she has never been able to top Alice in Wonderland’s Queen of Hearts on stilts. As a screen actor Anni has accrued an eclectic collection of TV and Film credits. More at anni@annifinsterer.com
